Sell Now Now
Terms of service
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you, the shop owner, and The Webjockeys, who make Sell Now Now. We've kept them in plain English. Please read them before you make your shop, especially the parts in the yellow boxes. If anything is unclear, ask us.
Who we are
Sell Now Now is a product of The Webjockeys (VAT number 4570223950), 558 Keeshond Str, Garsfontein, Pretoria, South Africa. You can reach us by email at info@thewebjockeys.co.za, on WhatsApp at 060 551 1218, or at thewebjockeys.co.za.
In these terms “we” and “us” means The Webjockeys. “You” means the person or business that signs up for a shop.
What you get
Sell Now Now gives you:
- a shop website at an address like yourname.sellnownow.co.za;
- an assistant on WhatsApp that adds and updates your products from your photos and messages;
- product photos and descriptions made by AI;
- a back office and a market till (point of sale) that work in your phone's browser;
- order emails, and receipts you can send by WhatsApp or email.
On request we can connect a domain you own (like yourshop.co.za). We don't register domains for you at the moment. We keep improving Sell Now Now, so features may change, but we won't take away a main feature you've paid for without telling you first.
Your free trial
- The trial lasts 14 days. It includes up to 5 products and R100 of AI credit. The AI work on your first product is free.
- There is one free trial per WhatsApp number and per email address.
- You don't need a card for the trial, and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
- If you haven't paid when the trial ends, your website is hidden. Your shop and everything in it is kept, so you can pay later and carry on where you left off.
Prices and paying
All our prices include VAT.
- Pay once: R6 500.
- Pay monthly: R650 a month for 12 months (see the next section).
- Both include the first year of hosting, and R300 of AI credit with your first payment.
- After the first year, hosting costs R100 a month or R1 200 a year. Hosting keeps your website, back office and till running. We'll remind you before it starts.
AI credit pays for the photos and descriptions the AI makes, a few rand at a time. You can see what you've used in your back office and top up whenever you like. Credit is not money: it can't be paid out, refunded or moved to someone else, and it doesn't expire while your shop exists.
You pay us through Paystack, a payment company, by card or the other ways Paystack offers. We never see or keep your full card number. For the monthly plan you allow us to charge the card you paid with each month until the 12 payments are done (and, if you choose monthly hosting after that, each month until you stop it). We email you a tax invoice for every payment, and they're in your back office.
Coupons work only on your first payment for the shop, once per shop, and can't be swapped for cash.
The monthly plan is a 12-month agreement
The monthly plan spreads the price of your shop over 12 payments of R650. If a payment doesn't go through, we let you know and try again. If it's still unpaid 14 days after it was due, your website is switched off. Nothing is deleted, and paying what's due switches it straight back on.
Cancelling early. You may cancel the monthly plan at any time by giving us 20 business days' notice by email or WhatsApp. Because the price is spread over the 12 months, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee, as the Consumer Protection Act allows. It takes into account what you've already paid and what you've received, and we'll tell you the amount before you confirm.
Cooling-off
The free trial lets you try everything before you pay. If the law gives you a cooling-off right (section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act), you may cancel within 7 days of your first payment, and we'll refund that payment within 30 days.
Your shop, your products, your sales
- You are responsible for what you sell and what your shop says: products, prices, descriptions and photos. You must deliver what you sell, honour returns and guarantees, and follow the laws that apply to your business, including the Consumer Protection Act.
- Sales are between you and your customers. We are not part of the sale. Customers order on your WhatsApp and pay you directly, for example by EFT into your bank account. We never handle your customers' money.
- Check what the AI makes. The AI makes photos and writes descriptions from what you send. It can get things wrong: colours, sizes, materials, or what a product can do. Look at every listing, and fix anything that isn't right. You are responsible for what your shop shows.
- Your photos and words stay yours. You give us permission to store, show, resize and process them (including with AI services) to run your shop. We'll only show your shop as an example of our work if you say we may.
- Only send us photos and text you own or are allowed to use.
What you may not sell or do
You may not use Sell Now Now to sell or offer:
- anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit or fake-branded;
- weapons, ammunition or explosives; drugs, or medicines that need a prescription;
- alcohol, tobacco or anything else that needs a licence you don't have;
- adult or sexual content, gambling, or get-rich-quick and pyramid schemes;
- anything hateful, threatening or discriminatory, or that uses someone else's work, name or brand without permission.
Don't try to break, overload or get around Sell Now Now, resell it, or use the WhatsApp assistant for things that have nothing to do with your shop. Don't send customers messages they didn't ask for.
If a shop breaks these rules we may hide it and remove the content, and we'll tell you why. In serious cases we may delete the shop and report it to the authorities.
Personal information
Our privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
Your shop collects some information about your customers: for example names, phone numbers and what they ordered, or an email address for a receipt. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you are the “responsible party” for that information, and we are your “operator”. That means we only use it to run your shop for you, keep it confidential and secure, never use it for our own marketing, and tell you without delay if it's ever compromised. You must use your customers' information only for good reasons, like handling their orders, and help them if they ask what you hold about them.
Switching off, coming back, deleting
- When a trial ends unpaid, or a payment is 14 days late, your website is hidden. Everything is kept. Pay and it's back.
- You can delete your account for good at any time from your back office. This deletes your website, products, photos, sales records and settings, and can't be undone. We keep your tax invoices for five years because tax law requires it, and a note that your number and email had a free trial.
- Deleting your account doesn't refund payments already made, except where the law says it must.
- Want a copy of your products or sales first? Ask us before you delete.
- If a shop has been switched off for more than two years, we may delete it. We'll email you at least 30 days before we do.
- The free address (yourname.sellnownow.co.za) is part of the service and can be given to someone else after your shop is deleted. A domain you own stays yours.
Keeping things running
We work hard to keep every shop online and safe, but we can't promise Sell Now Now will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or when the internet, WhatsApp or another service we depend on has problems. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its rules apply to the messages you send through it; if WhatsApp changes how things work, we may have to change the assistant.
We don't yet make off-site backups of shops. Keep your own copies of your product photos and important records.
Limits on our responsibility
Please read this part carefully. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profit; for losses caused by AI mistakes that you didn't check; for interruptions caused by the internet, WhatsApp or other services we don't control; or for anything between you and your customers. As far as the law allows, the most we will be responsible for is what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened.
None of this limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that can't be taken away, or our responsibility for gross negligence or dishonesty.
Help
Talk to a person Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 (not on public holidays), on WhatsApp at 060 551 1218 or by email at info@thewebjockeys.co.za. The WhatsApp assistant answers at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email or WhatsApp at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
The law and disagreements
South African law applies to these terms. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first: we'll try to sort it out within 20 business days. If we can't, either of us may go to a South African court that has jurisdiction, and you may also complain to the National Consumer Commission.
Our payment pages are run by Paystack, which keeps card details to the card industry's security standard (PCI DSS), and our websites use encrypted connections.
